Passover is a time for joy, stories, family, and friends. Join us for an interactive day of food, music and hands-on activities for all ages. This DIY Seder event will include:
ARTS & CRAFTS: Make your own family haggadah, matza cover, plague puppets, Elijah’s or Miriam’s cup and more.
MUSIC & MUSEUM: Special performances by Yellow Sneakers and the Folksbiene Youth Academy Ensemble; family tours of the MJH core exhibit.
COOKING, NOSHING & SHOPPING: Build your own modern Seder menu at demonstrations and tastings, and purchase specialty food from local vendors including Acme Smoked Fish, Brooklyn Seltzer Boys, Danny Macaroons, Fox’s U-Bet, Gefilteria, Holy Schmitt’s, Horman’s Best Pickles, Pickman Museum Shop at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, Seed + Mill, and others.
