DANIELLE SARNA
3rd Generation

Danielle was raised in a home where Tikkun Olam, making the world a better place, was much more than an expression. Her role models are Anita and Mark, board members of various Jewish organizations taught Danielle that action speaks louder than words.

While at the University, Danielle majored in psychology, sociology and Judaic Studies. In her final year at school, she planned and presented the Yom Hashoah Program, "Commemorate and Educate." Danielle was voted Outstanding Student Leader on campus by Hillel International in 2006, and is also a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi, a sorority founded at Barnard in 1909 that is dedicated to inspiring and supporting exemplary women who build on the vision of its Jewish founders.

Already an accomplished Public Relations executive, Danielle has worked on major campaigns for Max Brenner, the international chocolatier, Domaine de Canton and Cabana Cachaca. When her work day is done, she devotes her time and energy to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City, where she is a member of the Young Leadership Board and has co-chaired successful events for it members. Since she was chosen for the Hemshekh Award, she has put her energy and drive into helping us bring in "Young Friends" to help make this Gala event a resounding success.
