NOW PLAYING: DI KSUBE (THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT)
"What a miracle that not only has the Yiddish language survived the Holocaust, but that it is undergoing an actual renewal, so that there are actual courses in universities, and we have The National Yiddish Theater filling theaters for its performances. "The Marriage Contract" ("Di Ksube") was hilarious and I congratulate the entire cast for their performances. And the Russian and English translation which were provided made it very easy to follow the Yiddish dialogue. Anyone who enjoys the theater should go to a performance to see for themselves one of the important roots of American theater."
